Mental Health Day on the HillThe Mental Health Legislative Network will hold its annual Mental Health Day on the Hill online this year on Thursday, March 11. Hundreds of people from around the state are expected to (virtually) join the event and share their views on mental health issues with legislators.
After the kick-off, online appointments with legislators will be hosted throughout the day for mental health advocates to discuss their views on critical mental health needs for the 2021 legislative session. Attendees will be matched up with legislators and other advocates from their district for an online discussion of mental health concerns. You don't have to know what you're doing--NAMI Minnesota will guide you! For more information, contact Sam Smith at ssmith@namimn.org. Thursday, March 11 Kick-off: messages from legislators & explanation of current policy & funding issues 9-10 a.m. Meetings with legislators between 10 a.m. & 5 p.m. |
